They have great things to say. Might be a painful listen if you are one of the ones who is hoping that Nuss comes back next year.

I selfishly want him to come back because I’m worried about breaking in a new QB and an almost entirely new O line next year but obviously happy for Nuss if he continues to play well and gets drafted high

Nuss could have an epic jump from year 1 to 2 but he may very well go in the draft depending on how the year finishes

i mean, if he's getting round 1 looks, i'm sure he's gone. but, he comes from a good background, i'm they're financially set so money may not be his driving force. if he loves college, and i think he loves LSU, and money isn't the decider, he very well may come back. but round 1 eval with the rebuilding of the o line, do think he goes.

He definitely struggled against Ole Miss and wasn't sharp on the longer throws last week.

We'll see how he does against the Aggies. If they pressure him but don't get him on the ground, then he will feast. He's pretty good at throwing on the run.

Ags don't cover well, and rely on pressure to keep QBs from picking them apart.

I want him to come back too but if he goes it’s because he/we had a successful year.

Im sure they’d look at the portal to help avoid throwing Underwood straight in but i also kinda like Collins.

This staff has definitely handled the QB position and development really well.

Swann is exactly the kind of guy you’d think they could get from the portal and Collins is ahead of him. Not sure if you could attract a top guy knowing BU is coming.

With how well JD and now Nuss have played i think it would still be pretty attractive to any draft eligible or grad QB looking to ball out for a year. But yea they’d probably want to be assured that Underwood isn’t earmarked for a major role next year.

Swann knew once Pavia transferred he was #2 at Vandy. Better to be #2 at LSU. I think Nuss goes if he gets a RD1 grade which he should. He could be a top 5 pick next year. Manning is the only surefire RD1 QB next year.

Some draft gurus have moved Milroe, Beck and Ewers out of the 1st rd.

I have a hard time believing that Nuss waited 3 years for QB1, and is just gonna 1 and done.

He's predicted late 1st round in a good amount of Mocks. Sorry, but no way a 1st round grade stays next year. Hopefully, Underwood can step up as a true freshman. Im not confident about Rickie Collins.

I selfishly want him back because I think he can have a Heisman trophy type of year like 2019 Joe Burrow or 2023 Jayden Daniels if he has a second year as a starter. Those two guys did a 180 and really blossomed in year 2 at LSU.

He needs to do what’s best for him though.

If he gets a first round grade and is legitimately going to be one of the first few QB's taken in the draft. You have to declare. I guess you could get draft insurance or whatever incase you get injured or something but in general if you are a top 2 round prospect it is in your best interest to declare and I would support that.

I’m talking 2026. There isn’t a RD1 QB in that class right now outside of Arch. Others could get like every year but most draft boards have him as the only RD1 QB at the moment.
