What makes it better? I have FC 24 but I cannot justify the full price tag right now for 25. May pull the trigger if I can get it on Origin (PC) for no more than $20-25.

Played a little bit on the 10 hour trial.

How is the Rush mode? Sounds like it's better and replaced Volta, which I don't think I ever tried.

Did they fix the ridiculous defending where your teams defense would just stand there and let the attacker blow by them with the ball because they wanted you to take control of defenders?

Also, has anyone played eFootball, the successor to PES? It’s actually Free to Play, but surely Pay to Win.
If anything wondering how the gameplay in eFootball is though. SSD space at premium not going to try it without some recommendations.

Gameplay is much better. It was way too easy to score and way too hard to defend in 24. I’ve been playing some solid 2-1ish games on world class, it’s more realistic.

Uh no they did not. Bought this on black Friday for cheap. This happens way too often in the game. If you are controlling a DM out wide next to a RB/LB, if you are anywhere in the area that outside back will completely turn off and drift in and expect you to go out and cover. It's insane. Not to mention the CBs just letting guys run unmarked through the middle with no sense of urgency while that is happening.
The only way I found to make this game playable with these issues is to play on simulation mode that slows the game down big time. This gives you another beat to identify the issue and possibly recover. Playing on normal speed be prepared to concede wide open shots in the box constantly

I think the attacking AI is absolutely terrible in this game, it is so hard to score. While on the other side defending AI is OP. I enjoyed it more when it was Arcadish. 24 was exactly the same way, they seem hell bent on making the game worse without balancing it.

So I started a manager career with AC Milan and playing on Sim mode. I started being able to recognize when my defender would just be about to let the attacker completely run past him while he continued to side shuffle and started holding R1 to command that he actually defend. Ridiculous that you have to do this but it does help a bit with the lack of urgency with on ball defending.

Ultimate Team is the worst its ever been, its so bad the defensive AI is so strong your opponent doesn't even need to control the backline. It is an absolute chore just to score a goal.

I picked it up for $21 last night. EA Origin app had a sale, and I guess since I had been a founder of EA FC 24 the sale had an extra loyalty discount over the base $28 sale.
Still looking to find some good CPU sliders that make it as realistic as possible. Anyone have any?
Also, is there any reason to play above 60 FPS on PC? I believe on 24 I had my settings cap 60Hz and 60 FPS even though I have a 144Hz monitor. The issue with the game settings is there is no 144 FPS setting, it stops at 120 and then goes to no limit. I believe 24 ran more poorly for me trying to go above 60 though since I do play 1440p on an older system.
