Of all the songs you could have posted, you chose “keep talking”?

Nah.

However, I will give you that The Beatles made it possible for The Pink Floyd to exist.

Well if you go that route, the early pioneers of rock made it possible for the Beatles to exist.

Not sure what you're referring to, or if you're making some sort of joke that's going over my head.

Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorite bands and nearly every song is genius from the Meddle album to Division Bell. Hell even Endless River gets me into a groove even.

But Keep Talking? A good song, but I can rattle off 20 other songs that I'd put ahead of it.

To each their own. The Beatles have never done anything for me. I like a few of their songs, but give me Floyd all day everyday.

Uh huh. Without waters , it's not as good. Only one Floyd album can match the Beatles top five albums

Their genius extends well beyond the ‘popular” tracks. Keep Talking is amazing.

Meddle
DSOTM
Wish you were here
Animals
The Wall

All as good or better than the Beatles pop music. The Division Bell is a personal favorite of mine, but I won’t press the issue because it’s not a popular opinion.

I’m with you, TCO - if I had to only listen to one or the other for the rest of my life - I’d pick Pink Floyd and be glad of it.

Mine too. Coming Back to Life, High Hopes, Poles Apart. Just killer guitar work throughout the whole album.

I agree with this.

However, keep talking is an odd choice for those who don’t love Floyd (I love keep talking)

If you wanna blow the Beatles out the water, post a video of fat old sun from gilmours recent Italy tour.
