Hey if BI continues to shoot 3s, I'm down with keeping him.

I thought Missi wouldn't even play. Derp

It’s clear Missi is a standout athlete. A lot of those layups tonight would have been made by the Bulls with JV guarding.

The amount of times I saw this poster say BI was addition by subtraction sending him away. And after a mere game 1, he is taking it back. You should have doubled down on that take.

Upgrading and adding all the new assistant coaches helped them tremendously.

I'll be honest, i didn't care for the pick when we drafted him. Thought he was too raw. He also did not look good at all in the summer league.

One thing they have talked about is him as a person and how he continues to get better with coaching, and you can definitely see that progression just from the summer league to the preseason to last night.

I'm not going to annoint him as our savior at center just yet, but i'm a lot more excited about that pick now than i was on draft night that's for sure. If there's one thing that I'll give Griff props for is trying to find guys with the right attitude and work ethic to be good nba players. I think he learned his lesson with Jaxson Hayes and it's been nothign but high quality character guys since then, even with our 2nd round picks and undrafted guys.

Considering that's a role player, things are looking very good. With the four guys we have one through four we only need a role player at the 5

I liked Missi's highlight reel but thought he'd be a project. Then I watched a little of SL and soured on him.

But he has good instincts, a nice shooting form on FTs and seems to have good hands.

Most importantly, he's the opposite of Hayes - a sponge, rather than the IQ of sponge.

Yeah I was shocked he got minutes, let alone did something in game 1. I thought he'd barely play this year. It's really good to see him doing anything in game 1 (even if it's against the Bulls)

Was a very pleasant surprise. Almost like they intentionally kept how good he's been under wraps.

Like the opposite of what they did with other players in previous years.

Jax All Star invite incoming.

If Bi keeps it up, think I’d still prefer to send him out instead of maxing him out. Just not sure there is room for him and Zion together. Hopefully Griff can get a ton back from some desperate team.,

wouldn't it be nice to actually have everyone play together for some time to evaluate the team and players?
When the hell is that going to happen?

Agree, but what position? I'd almost rather a ton of draft picks.

Let's say BI is gone. Your starters ideally, IMO are:

Murray
Herb
Trey
Zion
Missi

Bench
CJ
Jose
Hawkins
Green
Theis

Doing a 3 for 1 trade doesn't make sense because we don't have the playing time for multiple guys.

Adding a starter pushes a starter to the bench.

C is still the weakest spot.

I think if we trade BI, I'd want to get back a CJ replacement even though I think that's Hawkins' future.

Neither am I, but he is definitely a contributor on an NBA roster, and at his slot, that’s a win.

If he is consistent at the line, can work in the PNR, get boards, and provide a presence in the paint, it’s a home run.

He showed glimpses of all of that last night.

Dude is only 20 years old and still shows up in his very first NBA game. It will never be too big of a moment for him and thats nice to have at any position.

Theis and missi can defend and rebound for 30 minutes. Who cares who starts. Bi will continue to own teams from mid range.

Our 4 "bigs" played a total of 50 minutes. I don't think there was ever a time that one wasn't on the floor. I don't believe there is a plan to play without a big at some point (small lineup with Zion or Ingram as the big), unless we are trying to matchup with someone. So that 30 minutes has to be a lot more. It was great in game 1. So far so good. Let's hope they keep it going..
