Brian Kelly Monday Press Conference….Tidbits and link inside

- LSU (6-1, 3-0) travels to College Station to face Texas A&M (6-1, 4-0) on Saturday in a battle for sole possession of first place in the SEC. The game will kickoff at 6:30pm and will broadcast on ABC.

- Both teams have a six-game winning streak after losing their season openers.

- LSU leads the overall series 36-23-3. LSU has lost three straight games at Kyle Field ...Click here for series history.

- Texas A&M is a 3-point favorite. The over/under is 53.5 points.

- Texas A&M averages 218.6 rushing yards per game on offense (13th in the country), led by Le'Veon Moss.

- A&M defense is second in the SEC in takeaways.

- Kelly said eleven true freshmen played against Arkansas.

- Kelly praised Caden Durham for playing so well despite being injured...says he is playing at 80-85%.

- A&M head coach Mike Elko was Brian Kelly's DC at Notre Dame in 2017.

- Tre'Dez Green was on the field for 42 snaps versus Arkansas...only average 6 snaps a game prior to that.

- No one asked him about injuries...

They got their shite pushed in that game. Yeah, go ahead and find a place on the couch.


Shoot, the one in between was ugly as well. Still trying to figure out Johnson or Finley (think Finley started), and that was Terrace Marshall's last game.

I don't like that place.

Did Zy Alexander play at Arkansas? Never heard his name called and see he didn't have a defensive stat from the game.

Any potential injury info or reason he didn't play [as appropriate]?

Alexander played 46 snaps, and in 34 coverage snaps, he was thrown on just one time – a pass that fell incomplete.

Which means he played an exceptionally well game.

LSU did everything in its power to keep Moss home, BUT circumstances wouldn’t allow him too. He made the best decision to leave BR. I’m glad the kid is having success, but I wish him NO success come Saturday night.

He was pretty damn elite in the game
