Please stop it with the "athletic quarterback with HUGE, but erratic arm" stereotypes.

Someone actually compared his arm to Mike Vick. MIKE VICK! This person is an idiot.

who knows if he has an arm. His footwork is so awful that he never maximizes his arm on anything.

True, the guy does have back foot-itis a la J. Lee.

The guy has outstanding vision and elusiveness in the open field, but from what I've seen of him (basically every snap he's taken all season), I'm just not sure he's what he was cracked out to be coming of of HS. I certainly do not see any kind of passing ability.

FWIW, that was the worst passing game he's had all season. I don't know wtf his problem was.

odd how Boeckman was in when the game was on the line, after the Tx TD.

Shepard, Perrilloux, T. Pryor, Jrock? Troy Smith? Tee Martin? McNab? Aaron Brooks? Doug Williams?

All VERY different QB's!

Truth, I made that comparison. I said he has the legs to be a Vick type factor in the running game and throws even MORE erratic than Vick. I never said his arm was as strong.

The kid does have a pretty strong arm too jackass. If you watched any OSU games this year, you'd know that.

RobbBobb, if I had to guess, they wanted Pryor on the receiving end because of his size at the end, so Boekman threw it.

id have to disagree with you. dont forget that hes a true freshman, who was thrown in immediately without time to develop. mike vick and vince young both redshirted and tim tebow was a change of pace qb. pryor has plenty of time to improve

I am not saying the kid won't improve. My point was simply that like Vick, his best asset is his running game and he actually hampers the passing game even worse than VY did.

Given his hype coming out of HS, he is way overrated. Can be a good one, but its obvious even jefferson can pass better than him as both are true Freshman.

His year wasn't that great from a passing perspective El Tigre. tOSU won with only one game of decent offensive output when he was at QB. No games where his passing was even good.

He better not be able to throw 75 yard bombs on the next NCAA, that's all I have to say.

Mike Vick has a laser. No duel threat qb compares to Vick.

man, i don't know.

check out his numbers against Mich State, Troy, Penn State, and Northwestern. His passer rating is over 150, which would be top 20 in the country if he had enough attempts. He also rushed for over 500 yards. I think that's a good year for a true fresh.

Pryor has an arm, he just forgot to pack it for the bowl game

I'm confident he will develop better as time goes on.

why?

he threw about 15 times per game, he had a power running game designed to shorten the game, is a great scrambler, and went 8-2 as a starter. Throwing a ton is not always good, even with very good QB's....ask the Saints or Texas Tech.
