So JJ had one good game, but why did it take so long to use him? Hatch and Lee are a joke.

b/c Miles is too loyal.

JJ has shown improvement in every game he started, and tremendous improvement with a month of bowl practice. We have a QB......one that looked much more poised and polished that Pryor did last night.

So you'd take JJ over Pryor?

too soon to tell, but jefferson looks just as fast and his arm looks better from what we've seen so far. just my opinion.

His arm looked weak becouse he was throwing off his back foot, on the run, and off balanced everytime.

JJ has a much better understanding of the passing game in general, and he has the tools pryor does

pryor is a great runner. i hope the coaches sent JJ to spend some time with RBs coaches to improve his running ability. he doesn't have the instincts to be a great runner, but a solid improvement will make him MUCH more dangerous

So now after one game you guys think JJ is on par with Pryor? Come on. Remember what you said about Jarrett Lee after Auburn?

i thought this when JJ first showed off his wheels

he's got similar running talent as TP, but he doesn't know how to run b/c he's a pocket QB

I wouldn't say he had one good game, he lit up Arky in the first half and that should have been enough to win, but the lousy D all season long let Arky back in the game, and they turned the defensive pressure up on him in the second half, keep in mind that was his first start of the season for a true frosh.

I've never seen it and I don't believe it's true.

you are basing your opinion on HS rankings. If you didn't know anything about either of them and based your opinion from on-field performance, you would see that they aren't that far apart.

you must not have watched the arkansas game or the peach bowl. JJ was running for 5 and 7 yard gains all over

looks to be a 4.50-4.60 runner, like TP

TP is just much more advanced mentally when running. he's not vince, but he's close

I'm not saying that JJ isn't a promising player because I think he is. I just think that right now you have to say Pryor is better. He's a better runner and even though he needs work on his passing game, he still put up decent numbers.

the team surrounding him was much, much more talented than any opponent not named USC or UT

Arky 19 att 50 yds
GT 10 att 25 yds

I did turn off the Peach Bowl at halftime.
