Seriously, how do you pronounce Kamala's name?

I read today it's pronounced Comma-la and not Ka-Ma-la.
I've always pronounced it like the second way because it's spelled just like The Ugandan Giant's name and that's how he pronounced it.
How big of a problem do you think it is that 20-something days before the election and people still don't know how to pronounce her name?

She changed it over the years. It was kuh-mah-luh but has become comma-la probably because her people said it sounds less middle eastern
