Got any? Casual places preferably. Doesn't have to all be Hatch chili or red/green/Christmas places.

There is a Facebook Group called New Mexico Recipes. Join the group and ask on there. I see people do that all the time and get lots of recommendations.

Not really casual, but Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe and Rancho de Chimayo north of Sante Fe are good. For casual, roadside fare try to find an Indian food truck serving fry breads. Used to be easier before COVID. There was one on the way to the Toas Reservation, but last time we were there (couple years ago) the reservation was still off limits.

Santa Fe Teahouse on Canyon Rd for lunch or brunch. This place is awesome. I’ve been many times.

Cervantes in Albuquerque is great! I go every time I pass through. It is a New Mexico chili restaurant, but is awesome Mexican food to this Louisiana guy. It's got a weird dark vibe going on with the decor, but the food is wonderful.

Los Poblanos Lavender Farm in Albuquerque was a cool place to check out and the food was good too.

El Pinto is decent not great restaurant but a huge place with a cool atmosphere.

The Range Cafe in Albuquerque is money. Best enchiladas I’ve ever had in my life.

Santa Fe Casual:

El Parasol for super casual tacos (they're dives, but they're awesome)
El Chile Toreado if you want to do a food truck.
The Shed or La Choza
Kakawa Chocolate House (drinking chocolate as well as chocolates)
Dolina (great bakery).
Paper Dosa for unique Indian
Tesuque Village Market for a cool atmosphere a little outside of town.
Cowgirl Cafe (fun atmosphere.. food okay).
Mille (french bakery)
Santa Fe Teahouse (great stop if you're walking up Canyon Road)

We've ended up at the restaurant in La Fonda several times and I've always enjoyed it, fwiw.

Most of the other celebrated spots are mentioned already.

That's one place I've been to. We enjoyed it. Less spicy than I expected, but then there is no shortage of Mexican places here in Atlanta. New Mexican cuisine is a little different, but not that much.
