Never been locked up. I tend to follow the rules and avoid situations like that.

Bout 7 hours.

Drunk and disorderly.
Failing to leave area after instructed.
Failing to pay after services rendered.

A week.

I’ve been on the straight &
narrow for long enough that I passed a background check to work at the parish animal shelter a few years ago.

22 days.

Most in a halfway house.

DUI (wasnt even driving, had keys in possession though) and the judge thought I was too happy at sentencing and threw the book at me.

Case after case came through the court with guys having rap sheets a mile long getting a slap on the wrist, but he decided to make an example of me.

The key to surviving three weeks locked up is to volunteer for work duty. I worked 8-10 hour a day shoveling snow, etc.

I spent four months at Palmetto more than 20 years ago. Then nine months in a sober living home in Arizona. I stayed clean for a year and a half

Not really

Sitting in a jail cell with 27 staples in the back of my head made me decide that I needed to change. So I went there with my mind made up that no matter what happened I would not be the same me anymore.
