I’m thinking Ibieta and Sampson. Nicolas also has speed and makes plays.

Fix your title before it gets whacked.

But Sampson is the easiest answer to your question. Would not mind seeing Jelani Watkins in for a shot or two to see if that speed can get behind the defense.

I would be shocked if Ibieta got a chance against Ole Miss but according to BK, it will be Thomas, Pimpton/Green, Sampson, and Watkins who are gonna be the ones that step up.

I think you will see Watkins get some snaps (assuming Hilton doesn't play). He probably won't get many targets, but they will try to use him to open the field for others.

Sampson has all the physical attributes you want. I just don't think he cares enough to be great. That was an issue in HS and there have been at least a few occasions where the staff is chewing him out on the sideline because it was clear he didn't know where to line up or what to do.

I just hope guys know the playbook and make the reads they are supposed to, be in the right spot, and be ready for the ball.
We can’t have any mental errors that lead to turnovers.

Maybe Kylan Billiot could be a dark horse to get in the lineup?

Wondering if this will be a game where our TEs get a lot of targets

Everyone keeps waiting for him to break out, but it seems like every play Sampson has been involved in this year is a bad route/busted play or a penalty.

Only real change in personnel will likely be a lot more targets for Thomas. And maybe more Green/Pimpton.

I honestly thought Billiot would see the field before Sampson or Watkins. Of course I’m not at the practices though

ITs going to be a lot of 2 and 3 WR looks on Saturday, I doubt we see much 4 WR looks.

Lacy, Anderson, Thomas

Those will be your 3 you see a ton of. I doubt we see much of anyone else. Sampson has seen the most snaps outside of those 3 (that is available to play tomorrow), but I just dont see them leaning on him much. Maybe a series or two (5-15 snaps total). He has really struggled in the time hes been in the game, just not there at all yet still.

We need to pray we dont lose Lacy/Anderson/Thomas to any injury in this game.

I think Nicholas might be next man up with his experience honestly, he always seems comfortable when he's out there. I know nobody wants to hear that about a walk on, but i think it is what it is right now in reality. Plus Nicholas isnt a typical walk on, he could easily be playing a lot a lower level. Just is a smaller dude.

I’m going with Caden Durham. Yeah I know the OP is talking about receivers, but it would be such an LSU thing for Durham to absolutely break out and dominate vs Ole Miss as a freshman (assuming he’s healthy enough of course).

Transferring at end of year. LSU don’t like white boys at WR.
