DJT's run will end either in a month or in about three years.

Is there anyone in "the resistance movement" that can lead?

Obviously, it has to be someone who is willing to risk their life and their family's lives for this country. Not an easy ask.

Who comes to mind?

This is the first time the gop has a deep bench in a long time. I like Vance and Vivek. Vivek wants to gut the federal government and that is a great start.

The DJT movement and following, like it or not, is the same as the Obama and Clinton movements. They became the face of the party and gave no room for others to show themselves. It is possible once DJT moves on, there will be no one readily available to become the front runner of the Rep party.

Desantis is by far the most efficient leader in politics today, including Trump. If people actually want shite to get done he's the man for the job. But the majority of people prefer flash and soundbites over effective leadership. Desantis should be nicknamed the stealth bomber.

Trump is unique. With his wealth, he is able to survive attacks many others can't or won't.

Regardless, my hope - he continues to inspire (toughness, determination and grit) to the next generation and we will see them rise to equal or surpass him one day.

That said, I still admire Vivek, JD and Ron.

Idc, i want justice for Trump and that's it. After that when his 2nd term is over I'll be 47 and closer to traveling the country in a RV with my wife for our retirment.

Any other politician after Trump is trash.

As it should be. We should always want a leader that stands alone in his realm of power and visions.

Do you believe that Desantis is "anti-establishment"? (I truly don't know the answer to this.)

I predict that you will care. Three years is not that far away, and 47 isn't that old. And if things stay on this track, your dream is in jeopardy.

Everything he has done as the governor of Florida shows that he is not part of the club.

I like DeSantis for the follow up after Trump. He has proven very effective as the chief executive of the State of Florida and I think that would translate well into running the executive branch of our federal government. The way he has directed Florida should be a model for the rest of the country.

I'm not certain about Vance in that role yet, but I have no reason to doubt that he would prove quite effective as well. Certainly Vance is the perfect running mate for Trump in this cycle as I believe that he and Trump are focused on the same goal of cleaning up the government and returning our country to the people.
