Obviously, she put 'white' and 'straight' on her FEMA application.

It makes me want to vomit to even post something this cynical, but the biggest hurdle Trump has in North Carolina is getting the people negatively impacted by Helene to the polls.

Illegals get a lot more help than that. That is just one reason why I am voting for Trump.

So it's not a $750 like they are reporting and very proud of... it's actually "UP TO $750"?

Typical of this administration.

After taking a direct hit from Francine, I applied for all of the FEMA support because my parish qualified. I was denied for all of it.

Ukraine can get my money, but I can’t!

What was their reasoning? "Yes, you lost everything, but you still didn't lose enough"?

1. I have homeowner's insurance

2. Income too high

3. Too much “savings”

So they in effect penalize you for being responsible.

I bet it takes 7-10 business days to get the $300 after being approved also. And that’s only if your bank didn’t get destroyed in the storm.

Same with me after Ida, lost my garage fell on my car, outer buildings roofs gone, lost 2 freezers, fridge computer and generator broke had to buy new one. Had to drive 100 miles to get wife's insulin. First guestion was how much I had in bank, Insurance only paid for about half value after deduction and hurricane deduction. We were out of electricity for 28 days at 10. Gallons of gas per day, they don't want to help responsible people. Wife had transplant and we are on fixed income, we both worked our whole lives. We are in our 70's.
