We all know what happened in SF when Lance got injured. Purdy took the job and kept it. Could Rattler do the same to Carr?

Personally I’ve seen enough of Carr.

Put the kid in and see what happens

Na, the back up QB(forgot name) threw for almost 19 thousand yards at Fresno. He has to be better than Carr.

Yes, but OL and DA issues will prevent that.

Sure, but we are missing Aiyuk, Deebo, Cmac, Mason, Kittle, Jennings and an O Line.

Aiyuk/Deebo/Cmac>Olave/Shaheed/Kamara, but not by much

Kittle>>>>>>>>>>>>>Juwan/Moreau
Jennings>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tipton/Means/Wilson
49ers O-line>>>Saints O-line but current injuries make this a larger gap

Maybe this is where Davantae Adams could have an impact with a young QB with a live arm like Rattler

The better comp would be turning Haener into Purdy. Neither are flashy QBs, neither are big arm QBs, neither sling it all over the field, and neither take too many chances.

I actually think Rattler is better suited to play behind a Swiss cheese O-line...he's used to it

Purdy stepped in and went 6-0

Let’s say Carr is out til the bye. You have 4 home games

TB
DEN
@ LAC
@ CAR
ATL
CLE

Haener or Rattler can go .500. Gotta beat CAR and CLE and steal another one. DEN vs the Nix in a contentious environment me thinks

Tampa boats race us. Chargers defense eats us alive. Atlanta could be a win if the QB has their feet under them by then.

Better odds that this poor guy gets his head knocked off for three games and destroys whatever confidence he may have

I think if Dennis Allen starts Haener over Rattler than it is another coaching failure. Haener looks like Ian Brooks out there. Too small and too conservative. Sure he can make some throws but there all going to be dink and dunks and we relive the horror of that again after Drew retires. Can't watch another Sieman/Dalton offense.
Rattler will be able to make some plays and has the confidence throw risky balls.

Perhaps, but he’s not playing.

Is that some sort of Aaron Brooks/Ian Book hybrid?

I would think they would start Haener but with the worlds shortest leash. In the end who does Kubiak want?

If Rattler is on the board on draft day and you are considering him, you’d imagine the first person called to sign off on him is Kubiak

Haener’s one advantage is that he’s been here two years. But at the end of the day he’s been in this offense the same time as Rattler.

Rattler is very talented. He definitely has a chance to do well.

Either Rattler is the man and takes the job or we loose every game and Allen gets fired. Either way Rattler is the hero, forever loved by Saints fans
