Exactly why I am not going. Saw them at Jazz fest in 2022 as well.
Edit: just took look on Saenger’s site. You can get two in the balcony for $137 (after fees)

And we wonder why we don't get quality rock shows through here. I agree it's high but it's cheaper than taking a trip out of town for them. I paid $125 on the floor the day they went on sale.

As Brosef is talking about, if a show is having trouble selling tickets the closer you get to the show Ticketmaster will drop the price, sometimes by a lot. It screws over the people who pay all the money in the pre-sale & regular on sale but if you wait certain shows out they will drop the price. I do this from time to time & it works.

yes the upper balcony is 49.50 plus fees, I missed that earlier. Hopefully they sell some more tix otherwise the place will be 1/4 full. shite I might even go but I’ll wait till sun morning and look again.

honestly you could always buy the cheapest tix and just go downstairs I doubt anyone will care

It's a shame. The Black Crowes put out quality music and their shows at least in the 90s were first rate. Happiness Bastards is a damned fine album, too.

Sadly, rock guys don't get the billing they used to.

ticket price is too high...saenger only seats 2900 it should be easy to fill.

khruangbin is playing the same venue the wednesday night before this, lowers are almost sold out and those left are 62.50. nobody to blame but themselves

case in point
i just bought two 2-nite passes to see billy strings in nashville, hockey arena but lower bowl, excellent seats. $139 for both, thats 35 bucks a ticket and these shows will sell out today

the black crowes in the saenger should be 50/ticket max

one of the best concerts I've ever seen was a Black Crowes show. They blew me away that night.

Anybody else noticed Nola is getting a lot more Sunday shows instead of Friday/Saturday nights? We are turning into a second rate city for shows.

Also the Black Crowes were popular in the 90s. Their fans have work Monday morning.

Turning into? We aren’t an A/primary market city. We get the left overs

If we’re lucky. We get skipped over by national tours all the time.

this fall is packed with good shows though…just all in the smaller venues which is fine by me. I think the bigger issue is the lack of an amphitheater (Liggett & Meyers RIP). If Jackson fricking MS can have an open air space then so can NOLA. It’s the same weather and it offers a fall/winter tour stop to go with Huntsville/Brandon/Houston etc.

There’s just not a good venue that can compete for 4-5000 seat touring shows

If I was czar I’d convert either zephyr field or tad gormley to a decent amphitheater

No foresight, no vision, criminals holding their hands out wanting a piece of the action.
