Creepy Commercial from AT&T

Has this commercial been discussed yet? The gist is kids are outside their parent's room listening to them "foreplay". I try not to be the old man that yells at clouds, but this seems off.

Plot twist:
That's not their kids. They run an Airbnb and that's the young couple renting a portion of their house for the weekend.

Is that the "Are you frickin retarded" lady?

Yes, I found it weird that teenage kids that think they hear their parents doing it, would stick around and keep listening. Strange AF

I thought it was creepy as well.

What about the part where she says go ahead and push the button? Seemed out of place but they had to get that great addition to the phone in the ad. And why are the kids so nosy.

It’s not even well written if they’re having foreplay. Doesn’t work innuendo wise especially for the kids to be as grossed out as they are….by Apple AI? Just terrible writing.

Yeah, Its just a weird AD all around. Seems like theyre running out of ideas and took a risk.

Is this their way of getting white families in ads, by making them weird. Being white used to be evil. Now its weird

I've seen it a couple times and have wondered "WTF are they thinking?"
Silly ad. Teens can be a handful to deal with on a normal basis, let's not give them ideas about something else to intrude upon in their parent's lives.

not creepy, but also not funny - there's SO much more they could have done with that approach but I'm sure the censors wouldn't let them

Straight white couple. Normal kids. Take the fricking win, my guy.

I thought the commercial was kind of funny. Better than half the other dumb shite commercials like cartoon bears talking about how clean their wipes are and fat chicks selling me all over body deodorant.
Continue yelling at clouds.
Continue yelling at clouds.

Yeah I thought that as well, why would you continue to sit there and listen ?
Also the ad campaign centered around “Apple intelligence “ is dumb as frick, they don’t tell you what it is but the phone has it and it lights up. I guess they got tired of just marketing around the new best camera ever for real this time for every new iPhone so they’re just hopping on the AI bandwagon

I get the joke they were going for, but having both kids there together continuing to listen comes across as kinda perverted.
They could have found a less creepy way to create the overhearing misunderstanding.
