Halo Studios - A New Dawn - Infinite

Halo Championship World Finals were held over the weekend and saw SSG (spacestation gaming) win in thrilling come back form 3-0 down in best of 7.
During the tournament coverage Halo Studios was announced as rebranding of 343i. In doing so they also confirmed that Halo will move to Unreal Engine for future games, plural, they confirmed multiple games in production.
They did so by showcasing some work in progress, see video at link A New Dawn
Lots of theories being thrown around about the titles in work and the 25th aniversary
I would love an Unreal Engine "retelling" of Combat Evolved for the 25th(2026). Same story, new gameplay, additional mission etc - Risky but would be a good way to introduce the new engine.
That said, I have been playing Infinite MP recently and it is now one of my favorite Halo games.
The game had a horrible launch but they have corrected all those mistakes and it is really fun now.
The Bandit (gun) is a great addition. Forge maps are unreal. Everyone needs to give it another try. I hope that in the rebranding they do not move away from infinite. They can continue to add to this game and keep it fresh until next major release( ~5 years Id guess)
My only complaint is that I suck now and the people who have been playing this whole time are too good.

Wow, the reason it took Infinite so long was the development of the Slipspace game engine. What a waste of time
They hopefully will not leave the Infinite story line, they left it wide open for more.

Lol. Halo is dead. No amount of rebranding or engine changes or remakes or ANYTHING is going to magically make 343 a good studio. They are woefully incompetent and havent made a single good game

Infinite is a fun game now, but in typical 343 fashion it took 4 frickin years to get to that point. They keep botching launch after launch to the point that it’s just a meme now.

halo isnt dead. Infinite is extremely fun, yes the launch was horrible.
Agree on the hate for 343 but I do believe that they are gone.
Also they are releasing the Halo 2 E3 demo to play.

Is it? Are you playing on controller? I've played a lot of halo and the gun just felt awful to use. Maybe I need to adjust settings but for a starter weapon it was so much harder to use than the H5 pistol and even Reach DMR. So many 1 on 1 fights where it takes like 6 body shots to kill someone with no shield and neither player can land a headshot.
I feel like people that never left Infitine since launch love it but casual Halo fans, the ones they need to cater to, try a couple of games with it and leave.
I get the BR being too powerful of a ranked starter gun, but the evo is shite.

I would love to see H5 gun play without the movement advancements or with booster pack, grapple, etc. as pickups.
I loved H5 but I realize it was not Halo at its core. Infinite is but the gun play is lacking.

I am on controller.
The Bandit Evo as a starter in ranked is perfect. Im not the best and miss the last headshot alot but it has made me enjoy the game alot more. The commando was horrible... and by that i mean i could never figure out how to use it.
H5 was a ton of fun but the movement got too out of hand. I think infinite is good balance, and having the movements as pick ups works great.
Oh i think they added the quatum transverse thing too. Its neat and once you figure it out you can make plays.

Bandit is a better start weapon than the BR in this game, but it’s still not perfect. BR was simply too strong, can literally hit someone cross map without too much difficulty.
Will be interesting to see what they add or change with the upcoming season update. Ranked has been stale for a long time now. Desperately need new maps at a minimum.
A “retuned” BR EVO would be interesting too, saw that floated around.
