“A transfer from”. Where is this machine, actually business of college football headed. Are any guardrails going to be put in place with regards to NIL, transfer portal, etc. If you had the ability to implement one thing that you think would make it better, what would it be. Or you ok with where it is now???

This applies to much more than just college football, but the thread title made me think of it:

The kid in the gif likely just made a layup on an 8 ft. goal or caught a football lobbed to him from 10 yards away. Kids these days will react this way over successfully tying their shoes. Drives me nuts.

"Special" has completely overtaken "the next level" in the annoying sweepstakes.

“Room” as in Qb Room, WR Room, etc.

One moron comes up with this to describe a position group and everyone else copies it ad nauseum.

College football should benefit the students. If John Doe getting a big NIL deal or transferring to another school is best for him and his future, then I say let the fricker do it. If you don't like it, take your eyes off the screen, your arse out of the seat, and your money out of the program.

If it makes you feel better, the same teams that were winning before NIL and the portal are going to keep winning and the ones that were losing are going to keep losing - because winning has been about money for a hell of a long time. It's just been indirectly spent on player acquisition by paying tens of millions of dollars on great recruiters and ridiculous facilities.

"He's a special sort of player"

Said of every other skill position player, every game.
