Don't know a thing about him or his political affiliation but he's got my vote

I get that the Governor is AWOL, but he's the Lt. Governor. Is there not anything that he can do other than place blame elsewhere?

He should be on the phone with Cooper instead of hamming it up for the cameras.

For the record, I will likely vote for Robinson. Just pointing out that he's not entirely powerless nor blameless.

Im not sure that it applies here, but if your boss undermines you, then both of these can be true.

I have heard from a good friend working for one of Trump's proxies in NCthat they don't care for Robinson (him personally and his group, can't speak for Trump). Has made too many promises he can't keep. He's not a liar, just the skillset and the network aren't there. Robinson cares about people, but more about "His Brand".

Ok, now shoot the messenger

I won't "shoot", jr, but I suspect that Robinson is a lot like Trump was when he jumped in politics. They both serve their "Brand", but the main point is can they DELIVER as managers of our Government allocation/resource system. Both are "America First", and THAT is the essential issue in the coming election.

So their current governor is in NYC? To raise funds?!?

If Louisiana has a gubernatorial candidate who actively campaigns in other states, that person will never get my vote. I may not necessarily support their opponent. But I will never vote for a candidate that fund raises out of state. Such activity clearly shows priorities other than the state of Louisiana. It clearly demonstrates that the person a part of the deep state networking that is destroying this country.

He's a loser. Trump backed him over much better GOP candidates, since Robinson was the only one to stroke Trump's ego... that's all you have to do with Trump.. feed his ego.

Mark Robinson is down by double digits to a jewish democrat candidate in North Carolina. Say that out loud. Crazy. But yall keep losing with these Trump-approved loons.

Robinson is gonna help NC become blue for good!

Why are you so sure that he hasn't tried to contact Cooper?

Please explain to everyone here exactly what he should be doing that he is choosing not to do.

For the record, we have ANOTHER example of someone who claims to be voting for a conservative while making damn sure that he defends the democrat Governor that has apparently been hiding ever since his state was devastated by a force of nature.

Why are you so sure that Cooper is not being intentionally negligent in his duties as Governor?

I think it’s a democrat thing. Kathleen Babbling Blanco wasn’t out campaigning when the storm hit, but she was pretty incompetent. Told Bush to stay in his lane at first, then got mad when he wasn’t Johnny on the spot when things went sideways.

Most Lt Governors are figure heads only and have very limited powers to none.

Fair question, I would imagine how much power a LT. Governor has varies from state to state based upon each states constitution. I think the power of a LT. Governor in Louisiana is very limited.

This is what was so disappointing about Bobby Jindal. I think he cared about the state but he was so ambitious when it came to national politics that he didn’t take care of things at home.

Well good. The current failures by the blue leaders all over NC up to the cum guzzler in DC must make you proud! Nice job, groomer!
