Need ideas for a few mid range and upper price range dinner spots and cool evening neighborhoods.

I will make the same recommendations I made on another thread today.

Rules
My favorite restaurant in London. A beautiful and historic place with a great bar.

Scott’s
In the Mayfair neighborhood.
An upscale seafood restaurant.

Since you said upper...Kitchen Table in Soho was one of my top 3 meals ever. Went 2 weeks ago. 12-15 diners arranged around the chef and his team as they cook and interact with you. One sitting all night. I think we were there for 4 hours. About 15 courses. It is a Michelin 2 star, and the food and service meets that expectation. Dinner with wine will set you back about $1000 for 2 people.

Seems pricey for a 2 star. Unless the wine is outstanding.

Edit: nevermind I completely misread your post. I thought you said $1000 per person.

Gymkhana. Indian, very, very good. You'll need to make a reservation.

I will second this. Best Indian food my wife and I have personally ever had. Awesome ambience and experience too.

Eating there tomorrow. Had Dishoom (Indian food) today and Barrafina (Spanish tapas) yesterday. Both were delicious.

Good. I hope you enjoy Scott's. They specialize in fresh seafood, including a lot of exotic stuff. Like a G,W. Fins on steroids.

Dishoom is killer, multiple locations around London. Their breakfast is awesome too.

Parlour is a bit out of the way but has the best Sunday roast in town.

If you head down river to Greenwich snag some eels at Goddards.
