Tina Peters, a former Colorado county clerk who espoused the false conspiracy theory that former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election due to ballot fraud, was sentenced Thursday to nine years in prison for crimes related to a breach of voting systems in her county. Peters was immediately taken into custody after Judge Matthew Barrett rejected her lawyer’s request that she remain free.

The system is set up to reward the kleptocrats and frick the little guy.
If the little guy deigns to point out the system is rewarding the kleptocrats, they will be silenced.

Do you consider unauthorized access of government databases to be a crime?

I honestly hope Trump jails all these mf'ers if he were to get in. They deserve the worst of the worst.

I do.
Are all crimes immoral?
No.
Let me know when Georgia releases the original ballot images.

All those smarmy little shite-worms claiming "no proof" should rub this in their face. One brave county clerk tried to expose what was happening, a gold star mother to boot, who gave her son to this fricking country, and she is being jailed for doing it for 10 years. I'm close to agreeing with Macklemore but for different reasons.

Also let me know when Kristi Passarelli and Charles Cooley, Maricopa County employees, are sentenced to 8 years in prison for allowing unauthorized access to Maricopa County records.

Their smarmy responses prove that they love this. Even if the convictions are warranted, 9 years in prison is outrageous. The "board moderates" truly think they're superior to the MAGA crowd and that Trump voters and supporters should suffer for allowing their candidate entry into what was previously a closed club. We truly have descended into anarcho-tyranny.

Makes sense. Allowing unauthorized people to use government systems is a major risk to elections. Total dereliction of duty here and very shameful. Judge gave her half of what she could a got. Prosecution asked for 20 years which is pretty extreme.

I,myself, do not, with limitations. If I were on a jury, I probably would have used nullification.

When this thing pops off...traditionally, who are the first casualties of these altercations?
That's right.
That's right.
