Even if that’s the case it’ll sure be a fun season. The fact he stayed after last season is icing on the cake.

Maybe but in the meantime he’s completely all in and generating a ton of hype for the program. He could just coast thru until someone else comes calling. That’s not the case.

wen will see. I will say, he and his wife have straight up told me....unless its to a program he can legit win a title at...he has no reason to leave as McNeese will get close enough to most salaries to no make it worth it and he likes the freedom he has
now I do think its prolly his last season or next year will be. But he does have a stench on him to the really big programs.
the difference now compared to before is the little girl is in school now and doesnt want to yank her around for no reason and essentially be in the same spot as he is now.
he has also told people, he didnt think he could get LSU to NC type program. Elite 8 every other year, sweet 16 others with occasional final 4 type run every decade or so. Said that is the current landscape.

He just wants to play in the Tourney every year. Unless a school who he thinks guarantees that comes calling there’s really no reason to leave hastily since what he’s built at McNeese can accomplish that goal.
