I want to see Nuss make some insane plays like Cam Ward is making tonight

Nuss is awesome, but he can propel himself into the Heisman convo with plays like Cam is making. Maybe he should come back next year.

He isn’t nearly athletic as Cam Ward. One could wish though.

I disagree UGA had him dead to rights in the backfield in the 2022 SECCG and he escaped and threw a TD pass.

Cam Ward had a horseshoe up his arse tonight. Those plays could and probably should have resulted in a Hokie running the other way with the ball. That's unsound football. Play so you don't have to win with Harry High School antics.

You have a very low bar for evaluating QB play. Ward almost cost his team big time. Ward will throw at least three picks against a top defense.

Yes, he is terrible at ball protection...and despite his great ability, he doesn't have great pocket awareness. He is a turnover machine against a good D. However, there are many on here that like his style regardless of the turnovers because....he can run.

Surely you must realize that Nuss is being coached NOT to take off running. His job is to stay with his protection and throw it away if the pressure gets too close and there isn’t an available receiver downfield or in a check down position.
At least that’s what we have seen so far. I suspect he’ll be green lighted more as the season progresses. But, also realize that he is starting to find the check down players open. No need to run if that’s available.
