With extreme heat, coolcations are the thing now.

Banff Canada. It was 97° at my house when I left. High one day in Banff was 68°.

Must be fricking nice.

My coolcation is getting off from a 12 hour day, having a cold drink and letting the fan blow up one leg of my shorts and down the other

In Alaska right now. 15-20 foot waves and pretty cool alright.

Montana every summer for us, specifically parent’s vacation home in West Glacier at front door of Glacier NP (pics below).

We’ve made the drive a few hours north to Banff from Glacier a couple times.

Went to Napa this past July. Even in low 90’s it was cooler than Houston. Nights and mornings were mid 50’s.

That's almost as lame as a staycation.

We take ours in the dead of winter.

Island park idaho, great lakes, north east.

This year we're going to Nova Scotia.

It's enough winter to make me appreciate how mild louisiana weather is

One of my favorite places. We stay north of Flathead lake in Kalispell. The Blasdel Waterfowl Production are is right across the road from where we stay. Great view from the porch.

Carmel / Big Sur, CA. Barely got out of the 60’s when we were there in July.
