He will have a chance as a starting QB in the NFL too. While I don't think he's Burrow or JD, he is further along than both were their first years as a starter so there's a chance. Either way I expect us to have 3 QBs start NFL games next year with Underwood up next which is awesome

Yep future looks bright for QBs.

Unfortunately when LSU starts getting defensive studs and a defense again then the QBs will go to shite again. For some reason LSU can’t ever have the best of both worlds.

I think Nuss can come back to LSU next year and if he does, he would have a great shot at the Heisman, like both Burrow and JD have done in their 5th year.

Nuss redshirted his 1st year.

2019 wasn’t bad on both sides of the ball, I get what your saying though from past years. Especially the Les Miles years.

The only thing I wish with Nuss is that he could come back and have a magical senior season with the team. But we might be further away then 1 year. But we should be good next year with the talented freshmen we have this year getting experience.

Nuss is more like Burrow. Neither a starter until year 4. Daniels started 3 years before arriving at LSU. 3 years starting is a lot. Big difference than what Nuss is doing.

He is a first year starter. Both Burrow and Daniels had two years at LSU. If Nuss sticks around one more year, it will be his time. He is already ahead of schedule compared to the other two.

Daniels didn’t show promise until year 2 at LSU which was his 5th year as a starter. Nuss is killing it in year 1 as a starter. Honestly as much as I would like for Nuss to corm back don’t be surprised if he seriously considers going pro. He will be a great pro.

Nuss has done well, but fans should temper their enthusiasm until we get well into the heart of the SEC schedule. There are still going to be growing pains for him just like the other QBs.

Yes, Nuss can and should come back. That will give Underwood 1yr to learn and take over. LSU would likely loose either Collins or Hurley but that's just college football these days. Kids play or leave.

Why not this season? He is on track to be as good as anyone else.
If he can lead us past Ole Miss in a couple weeks.

Burrow and Daniels have the attention of the media. Now its up to Nuss and the team.

Do you think they were Burrow or JD in 2018 or 2022? These guys weren't even in the top 3 rounds in draft projections going into their final year at LSU. From what I'm seeing, Nuss is already projected 1st round. He is probably gone after this year, but if he were to come back, he would be coming back with experience and swag........he would be a heisman favorite.

While this may be true, I'd say that he has probably faced as good of competition as any with both the USC teams on defense. He has faced MUCH better competition that people like Dart, and even Nico struggled this last week against the first pretty good defense he saw.
