Where to eat in the French Quarter

Date night this weekend. I have a reservation at Brennan’s, but my wife does not eat seafood. What other options should I consider? Or stick with my original plan?

I like Bayona for a date night. Especially if the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the patio.

I don't consider Brennan's to be a seafood restaurant so I'm not sure why you would have to switch. Certainly there is seafood on it because its a New Orleans restaurant but there are plenty of non seafood options.
Mr B's, Galatoire's (dress code) are some old school places. Irene's italian. for more modern stuff try Palm and Pine.

Impress her and order this for her. It's not on the menu.

Justine. Women LOVE this place. I guarantee people will crap on it here…but trust me, she will love it. It’s a sexy restaurant.

Brennan's is the best restaurant in the French Quarter, and probably the best all-purpose fine-dining restaurant in New Orleans. It does not specialize in seafood.
What is the problem?

Red Fish Grill
The bbq oysters alone are worth the trip.

Brennan’s is fine and they serve plenty things other than seafood.
Where else to eat in the FQ ?
There are dozens of choices.
My favorite is Galatoire’s.
My second favorite is GW Fins but that is one that the no seafood criteria would eliminate.

As stated by others there's no shortage of great restaurants to eat at in the French Quarter, but if you already have reservations at Brennan's then there's no need to switch just because of a seafood restriction. They have plenty of quality of non-seafood items on the menu. My personal go-to is the glazed duck breast. A cup of gumbo or turtle soup to start along with the duck and bananas foster or bread pudding for desert is one hell of a fun dining experience.

My two favorite restaurants in the Quarter are GW Fins and Irene's Italian restaurant. Both are very good. Of course GW Fins is seafood.

A check of the Brenan's dinner menus shows a good mix of seafood and other entrees. Plenty of choices for every taste. Good place.
