Who comes to mind when you think of actors who are probably as down to earth in real life as well as in the characters they play?
John Candy is at the top of my list. Planes trains and automobiles, uncle buck.. he seemed like a sweet guy.

Danny Devito. I think of fat people when I think of lovable.

John Goodman as another score for the fat white guys. Steve Carrell and Jackie Chan (CCP or not) are two picks outside that.

ETA: ^ Glad to see fatness is a bonus to others as well

Those are good ones. Jackie Chan does seem like he’s probably down to earth.. I used to love his poorly dubbed martial arts movies when I was a kid

Chris Pratt comes off as a genuine guy, Keanu Reeves too.

Adam Sandler. He seems like the simplest, most honest actor out there.

Mark Ruffalo seems really down to Earth, humble, and relatable.

Keanu reeves is a good one.. not a fan of Paul Rudds movies but he does seem like a really nice guy in real life. I’ve heard Sandler is super relatable.. Norm Macdonald was supposedly a really great guy too

I think the phrase "never meet your heroes" was started by actors.

Who knows who these people are?

I thought Kurt Russel came across as kinda unlikeable in a recent interview about famous roles he’s had. He was kinda taking a piss at the directors and writers in movies he’s been in
