Jon absolutely fumbled the vote last night. He shouldve just stuck to his guns and got everybody to vote the crazy man out

Some decent eye candy. Not on par with some of the best.

Yeah, I think we have another quitter. They kept him for his "strength" when he literally laid down on the comp.

Yeah, I didn't get that. Dude was laid out but they kept him for his strength. My guess is that John was was more annoying than the camera let on.

Why do the non-straight people have to announce that they aren't straight?

one guy : I'm BI
The other guy: I'm Gay.

Maybe they saw John as a threat down the road since he makes a living through speaking and has political experience. If people showed an interest in making an hard vote that would help in the long run, why not take advantage? Andy is a train wreck and would be an easy vote in the future.

They made the point on the after show podcast Andy’s rant only blew up his own game and he didn’t impact anyone else. No harm, no foul.

Or maybe it was as simple as John not fitting in with the youngsters. John was 42 but acted a lot more accomplished and mature than the other players. He should have dumbed himself down or even lied about his life.

early on, the short haired chick seems to be the coolest one. She seems like she would be fun to hang out with.

Agreed. On the video intros before the show ran last night, she seemed to be an all-around likable person that I'd enjoy IRL. I also like Kyle. He's had a tough life growing up in the foster care system, but he seems like a really good guy, well-adjusted and "with a good head on his shoulders." Pulling for him.

Teeny? She does seem easy going but her strong social game could be seen as a threat the same way physically strong players were a target in the past.

I think Gabe is in a good spot that reminds me of how Dee played her game when she aligned with an older female contestant as her ride or die. The alliance isn’t obvious on the surface. His idol hunting skills need some work.

I think Gabe is playing too hard too early. He’ll trip himself up somewhere. TK is already skeptical of him and I think TK has more appeal to his tribe at the moment.

I think Jon got booted 1) because he’s seen as smart/strategic and 2) because he tried to flip the vote to Anika. Sam no doubt told the girls and that solidified his fate. They’ll regret not booting Andy for sure. He’s a head case. Seems like a creep and dead weight in challenges too. Hope they remember to cheer for him every minute of every day. “Strength” is such an overrated metric, though I think that was just the cover reason to keep him. The real reason is he’ll be an easy number when called upon because he’s desperate to stay in good graces.

this guy runs like an nfl player. He's going to tough to beat in some of the individual comps.

I'm tired of every season having someone who exhibits "mental health" issues and needs someone to talk them into staying. Is that generation so soft that so many of them have no drive and resiliency? Don't answer that. I think I know. But it's just not fun watching them have breakdowns. That's not why I watch Survivor. I think Jeff thinks the audience does like it. They're showing their "human" side. I want competitors instead.

He’s one of my early favorites though likeable and physically strong is usually a recipe for an early exit. Same for Sol even though we didn’t see much of him.

Yes.

China is waiting till our older people die, then take over without firing a shot.

No, but he seemed like a douche. Also classic "play too hard too early" mistake and it cost him. They had a layup vote in Andy if no one tries to get too clever.

Typically, Jeff handles these situations with so much care it's overboard. With Andy it was the first time I feel like I saw Jeff get frustrated by the theatrics

I don't remember this happening in the early years. Seems much more prevalent now.

He should've been sent home.

What we are getting now is a diluted survivor full of pansies.
