Today is national cheeseburger day. Now I want a cheeseburger. Today is one of my in-office days, and Hooters is the closest and most convenient burger. Is it worth it? Should I?

I had one at Twin Peaks last week and it was surprisingly good for a breastaurant.

Haven't been since college, but from what I hear depending on location the buns can be hit or miss. Some are full and supple while others appear to have been ran over by a Mack truck.

A friend of mine gets the cheeseburger every time we go. I’ve never had it but he swears by it

It’s a good burger, but I prefer the one at J. Alexander’s.

Its hard to frick up a burger if using fresh ground beef.
You season it on the grill, cook to desired temp, put on a bun with cheese, add toppings. Enjoy.

Our burgers? Do you work at a location? Own one?

Places like this that are known for something else besides burgers usually have pretty good burgers.

Awesome!

I'm never in your neck of the woods, but I might hit the BR location today. We shall see. It depends on when my meeting ends.

Not to derail the thread, but what’s your take on the overall decline in the, uh, attractiveness of Hooters servers? Is this a DEI move or is the job less desirable than 20 years ago?

The talent used to be the first reason for visiting Hooters. Not so much anymore.

Good point, but the noticeable decline started many years before Onlyfans was invented.

Multi-layered problem there. The core of it is that it became an actual job and top tier girls want to get paid just to be pretty. They do not want to do side work and bus tables. You can go further down the line with a bunch of other issues. First of all is that Louisiana isn't a deep pool of women to start with. Sometimes you have culture issues that make it unattractive. Sometimes you just have a male GM that has never bagged anything above a 7 and they hire what is on their attainable level. I've had that theory for awhile and hooters girls agree with it in some places
