All Inclusive Recommendations for Family

Looking for recs for all inclusive with family of 5.
Things I am looking for:
- $8-$9k budget (including flights) for 6 nights
- Easy to navigate to (as we've never traveled outside of the country); I've been told to avoid D.R. for this reason although not totally sure why
- Water slides/park for the kids
- Maybe not somewhere HUGE that is too hard to get around
- Decent food although we are pretty simple
If anyone has a travel agent that can assist, that would be awesome too.

How old are the children? This makes a difference.

I went to a wedding at Finest Playa Mujeres earlier in the year. Great experience for everyone, including families with children.

The DR is great and has fantastic all inclusives. Not sure why someone told you to avoid it. It’s one of the best spots in the Caribbean.
Aruba has great beaches and some nice resorts.
Cabo and Puerto Vallarta are also great.
You could probably get a good deal in Costa Rica as well.
If you’re a Costco member, check out their deals.

This is probably where I’d bring kids.

We are taking our kids to Beaches Turks and Caicos next summer
4 of us for 5 nights will be roughly $12k, but we have pretty nice rooms
You could probably fit your budget with basic rooms

Beaches Turks was awesome but it’s way over your budget.
There’s one in Jamaica that’s cheaper but the resort is a lot smaller.

We also paid 12K for 5 nights family of four. Stayed in the French Village in a walkout Garden family suite.

I would not avoid the DR. We take a trip there every year. If you are going to an all inclusive I always see no reason to go to a much more expensive destination to be at an all inclusive.

We did DR last year, was amazing. Also recommend Moon Palace in Cancun.

DR is great. Likely the person was speaking off resort…DR is very run down outside the resorts. That’s really true in Jamaica, parts of Mexico and really a lot of islands.
If you plan to stay on resort, I don’t think there is an island I would “avoid.”
Aruba, St Lucia, 20 places in Mexico…all great for kids. If they are adventurous, would look at Costa Rica as well.
Best bang for the buck right now is Jamaica though. They have amazing deals

This. Great resort. Easy to get to. Good is pretty good. Water park is great for kids. Pools are huge. Highly recommended. My 12 yr old was saying earlier today she wanted to go back. There is a nice water park/zip line park off site you can go to. Hotel will coordinate for you.

Take a look at the Fives Beach in Playa Del Carmen. It is usually pretty affordable.

Hotel XCaret in Play Del Carmen.
I’ve stayed at many all inclusive, this is by far the best for families. So many activities included.

may want to check into construction/renovation that started at the resort.
