Blues should be fun to watch

lots of youth, and i loved the offer sheets. If they dont work, ur only on the hook for 2 years, and had you tried to get both players for a 2nd and a 3rd, oilers tell you to f'off.

Is it Army with ballz move, or Alex Steen. If Steen, should be a fun front office going forward.

They still have pieces they can move for needs, or wait in off season to make a move with one of their talented prospects.

I agree. That’s why I picked St. Louis as the most improved team.

I think so. They have the pieces to make a deep playoff run.

I think Carlsson will take a huge leap this season.

Go Flames Go.

Shouldn’t be a good year but we have a lot of decent/excellent young guys who will likely get their time to shine, especially on the blue line. First full season for our big-time young goalie Dustin Wolf to show what he’s made of. Probably needs to be a bad year to deepen the rebuild. Maybe Huberdeau will snap out of his trance and get good again.

Sid signs 2-year extension through 26-27 season

This will put him through his age 39 season. He's essentially going to retire as a Penguin. As it should be. He's the greatest player of his generation and top-5 all-time.

quote:

PITTSBURGH —

Sidney Crosby is sticking with the Pittsburgh Penguins for two more years. The news dropped Monday afternoon from Penguins President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas.

Crosby signed a two-year deal that will run through the 2026-27 season and is worth around $8.7 million annually.

There are no words to properly describe what Sidney Crosby means to the game of hockey, the city of Pittsburgh and the Penguins organization," Dubas said. "Sidney is the greatest player of his generation and one of the greatest players in the history of the game."

In 2005, Crosby was the first overall draft pick. He has recorded 1,596 points in his career, becoming the second-highest overall goal scorer for first-round picks in NHL history behind Mario Lemieux.

Crosby is a three-time Stanley Cup Champion and is entering his 20th season with the Penguins. His long list of accolades includes being named an NHL All-Star 10 times, two Conn Smythe trophies, two Art Ross trophies and two Hart Memorial trophies.

He has played the most games in Penguins history at 1,272.

"(Crosby’s) dedication to the Penguins through 2027 ensures that our franchise will have its Captain as we go through this phase of our project. Sid’s commitment reiterates our urgency to build a team around him that can return our team to contention and provide our players with Sid’s leadership and example of what it means to be a Pittsburgh Penguin," Dubas said.

All depends on goaltending if Luukkonen can continue building on last year then I agree. A healthy Tuck will go along way to proving you right as well.
