He should at least wait and see how things work out next season, JJ and/or RS could end up not developing or getting injured. He would also be instrumental in providing depth next year. He will probably be the back-up with JJ being the starter and RS being the special play QB. He should get mop up time against ull and tulane. He could still transfer after next year and get 2 years as a starter at a FCS school.

be best if he stayed, you never know.

Watch him come back to LSU with another team and beat us like Clauson did.

I heard he's first in line for the starter at the water boy position

Lee Transfer: Bad for us, but possibly good for him.
How are we possibly better off with fewer QB's on the roster? Even if you *think* we'll never need him, you just don't know.

Because it helps with our recruiting class this year even more?
That's really the only positive.

Jarrett Lee will be an excellent QB for someone. I hope he stays at LSU.
JJ is not as good as some of you think he is... not saying he can't be, but he has a very long way to go. I think the coaches are to blame for the problems Lee had. He wasn't ready to throw the ball 30 times a game even though he showed flashes of brilliance at times.

well he only needed 1 throw for a pick six against georgia.
his 1st or 2nd pass to throw an interception to bama.
only 6 passes to throw a pick 6 to ole miss.
He just wasn't ready period.

well my question to the rant is why would jarret lee want to go to SFA or McNeese??
1. SFA runs the spread
2. McNeese runs the triple option

JJ gets hurt, Shepard takes over. I'm sure Ohio State fans thought the same thing with Pryor and we see how that turned out. Shepard is considered a better all around prospect than Pryor, by the way, and LSU has WAY more weapons than does OSU. Lee gave it his all, but his is no SEC starter. That is for sure. His decision making is way below par.

Just the fanbase let him down? Who among the coaches told him not to tuck the ball and run instead of forcing the ball into high risk coverage? Had he done that he would still be the starting QB and not nearly as much of this speculation and vilifying of him would have taken place.

Actually SFA runs the Air Raid (same as Texas Tech) and McNeese runs a version of the spread.

Screw McNeese... Fork 'Em Demons! C'mon Jarrett, you and Peveto can split a U-Haul!

Only ignorant fans would want JL to transfer.
I agree and I will stop at this post. If we learned one thing in 2008 it's that you can never have enough experienced qb's and you can have too many who have none.

...that would never work. You KNOW by the end of the first he will have passed out water to at least 2 players on the other team.
