I was supposed to be going to Grand Isle today. Anyone know if the roads are clear or if the island is open to the public?

According to Entergy's outage map, all of Grand Isle has power.

The island itself is fine. It has power. I do not know about highway 1 being passable.

Yea that is my concern. Didn't know if any one had already tried getting back down there.

I have about 3 inches of water on my slab. That was due to high tide and south winds. Should be gone later today. Never lost power.

There's a curfew in effect until 10am, but by all accounts it sounds like the island is just fine surprisingly. Water never really came up very high and they have power. Looks like they had more flooding a couple months ago during that high tide/storm that went to Mexico.

Drive that way and find out.

Pretty easy answer.

If it’s open, you will be glad you did

all of Terrebonne and Lafourche Parish is under curfew until further notice, so you'll get pulled over en route.
