Anyone have any details about this? Just saw a couple guys stuck on an oil rig that the company waited too late to go get them.

Ribeyes and lobster tails for a week
I’m not feeling too sorry for them.
And a day rate to watch movies.

A hurricane without beer sounds terrible.

They're eating good and making fat stacks

For Ida a still ship waited too late to make a decision to rig up and I think it got blown over (or maybe knocked over).
If it’s a normal platform the guys will be fine

That’s not how any of that works. Where do you think they get power? Power lines or something?

There most likely fine

Uh generators. They running. Lol

So you’ve never worked on a boat before

This would be a great setup for a horror movie. One of the baws is a fricking psychopath and they just fired him this morning, waiting for the next transport to take him off platform, but the boat didn't get there because of the hurricane and now their power is out.
I hereby copyright this movie idea.

Well the hurricane is no longer offshore so it can’t be that bad

Natural gas. Lots and lots of it.

Not quite, depends on what you are on. A lot of shelf platforms are 30+ years or older. I promise none of you would be comfortable sitting on one of those. Also the deepwater facilities can be dicey in those conditions. Bottom line is no one will be relaxing riding a storm out in the GOM.
