Yes because renewed interest in Football.
They were a power way back and now once Neon leaves they can get boosters to put $ in to try.

Colorado is relevant now thanks to Deion. Their sports program is probably bringing in more money than it ever has. So I'm sure they are enjoying that. They will go back to being irrelevant once Deion leaves after the season. No way he stays there after His sons and travis hunter leave for NFL this offseason

Maybe. They are not worse. They’ve probably sold a lot of tickets and merch.

No, this is damaging to their program. They’ll be close to 30 players on scholarship once Prime moves his circus out of town.

I mean they were winless before all this and getting down to 30 scholarship players is kind of what happens when a coach leaves nowadays anywhere.

It was a solid swing for the fences and as it stands I think they’d take that swing every time, the bigger concern long term is burning bridges with boasters in the post Deion era

I mean, that program was pretty damaged before he got there. They are getting more attention and almost certainly making more money now than they were before. And the record isn’t worse than before. So what is the damage?

He’s not going to turn them into a successful program. And once his son and Travis Hunter leave they are going to be in bad bad shape. But I can’t say he’s left it worse than he found it.

100000%

People are talking about them, and after Deion they have a chance of getting a decent coach who wants to actual win there

hopefully they were able to attract enough money to improve or build facilities, or make other meaningful changes to their program for long term success

i know ticket sales and merchandise has been thru the roof, but that's very temporary. we'll see what the admin and AD at colorado planned and did during this brief stretch of high visibility and increased attention on their program

For some reason the thread title reminded Oldmanbeasley of the crossover smash hit by Nelly and Tim McGraw. Enjoy:

Probably but I bet most of the admin can’t stand Sanders at this point and are ready for him to go.

Kinda like Texas Tech admin with Leach except he produced on the field.

They aren’t winning and are shite at football.

But they reached a record-setting 68,000 applicants for the 2024 fall semester. Money talks

How I feel. Especially if willing to spend the money. The newer bandwagon fans are better than no fans lol.

Yes. Their enrollment is way up, applications way up, tickets sales way up, and they are nationally relevant even if they aren’t good.

Irrelevant is an optimistic view of what's going to happen when Deion leaves.

It's going to be a complete rebuild.

Yet, he is trying to destroy the program.
