Is Leonard Fournette done?

He is still a free agent. How would you rate his career?

His NFL career was pretty lackluster even though he did get a ring.

Fournette played two years at lsu
He opted out of the last one

Decent career, 3 1k yard rushing seasons with another couple thousand receiving. Key player in 2 playoff runs and has a Super Bowl ring. Not a bad career.

An absolute stud at LSU. He would have a heisman if not for the Bama games. He's the best college RB I've ever seen (in limited time watching).
He was very good in the NFL, but never had a good QB to take pressure off him at Jacksonville.
Unfortunately, he aged sort of quickly over the past few years and some of his physical traits have diminished, like most RBs his age not named Derrick Henry. It makes me feel old because we graduated in the same class.

Depends what you consider lackluster. A little bit underwhelming for the 4th overall pick? Sure.
He was incredible his first couple of seasons in the league, and looked like he was about to be one of the top RB’s in the league for a good stretch. Jacksonville did him no favors, and he had a big revival in Tampa Bay. He was a key piece of that Super Bowl Run.
Gotta think about him carrying the rock hundreds of times a year since he was probably 14 years old. By the time these guys are 25 or 26 their bodies are worn down. Fournette was a bell cow his entire life.

Solid career. He always had very limited vision and wiggle so he probabaly got the best out of his talent.

I always thought Fournette was more talented than Derick Henry, but the NFL proved that wrong.
Henry flourished and is a likely hall of famer.
Fournette was just another decent running back in the NFL.

I guess it's a matter of opinion, and I'm biased as an LSU fan, but I don't think I've ever seen a better college RB (started watching in 2011).
I consider LF7 to be better than Gurley, Bijan Robinson, Zeke, Chubb, Travis Ettiene, and Derrick Henry.
I think the closest guys I've seen were Trent Richardson and Saquon Barkley.
Reggie Bush was before my time.

He had some serious ankle issues in his last season. Kept reinjuring it. But in your idiot brain, I guess that is opting out.

Solid career. He played well in Tampa but looked older and slower than his LSU and Jacksonville days.
At this time last year, I thought he had two more good years left. Apparently not.
Seems like yesterday when he was a true freshman and the kickoff returner in opening game.

He was handicapped bc the defenses always knew he was getting the ball in Miles’ puckered a-hole offense. With just a modicum of a passing game, just a hint of creativity, he would’ve racked up more yards and awards. If he played for Bama he would’ve won a Heisman.

Did not, really just played 2 yrs

His rookie yea, looked promising. Breaking a 90 yard TD at the end of one game then first play of next game a 75 yard TD. Looked very fast.
Seemed poised to have a huge second season but tore a hamstring and fought it all year. Also got suspended. I think that seasoned screwed him. He never looked as fast he did as a rookie and preseason going into his second year.

Bo and Herschel Walker way back were the two best I ever saw. I think Fournette at LSU was the best but Charles Alexander, Kevin Faulk, and Cecil Collins were probably right there with him, not that far behind.

Ricky Williams was a monster in college

Go back and watch Reggie….he was a better back than Leonard in college and probably in the NFL too…..Fournette had a couple good NFL seasons and has a ring….he is a poster child for not taking a RB in the top 5 picks of the draft though.
