Will it ever end?

Is it a stalled front? A bored tropical disturbance spawn-camping us off the coast? I need answers.

Fetal position next to your parents bed. You’ll be fine.

Hasn’t rained in like two months. We get two days of rain in a row and it’s “when will it ever end!!” Just enjoy it

It’s called an atmospheric river. Happens every 4 years. We should be through the worst of it.

A bored tropical disturbance

I haven’t talked to it so I don’t know if it’s bored or not. Seems to be enjoying its location though so I’d assume it’s quite content.

2016 didn’t have a front to clear things out. It would be more of a concern if the front wasn’t passing through on Saturday.

A stalled front with an area of low pressure off the coast between Louisiana and Texas. Should be gone after Saturday with another approaching front.

Maybe not in your neck of the woods. We had a couple inches last week and I’m at four and counting in the last two days. I’d really rather not be picking my cotton from a pirogue.

ETA: Thank you to all those with serious responses. It’s much appreciated.

We haven't seen near the rates compared to '16 either, at least not yet. It is losing a lot of moisture as it works onshore.

Yeah, plus I’m thinking in terms of it drifting onshore, parking, and raining instead of being swept out to the south and drying things out like what’s going to happen.
