It’s fair to say the evidence so far is that BK can’t win the big games

That was a knock against him at ND but he only had 1-2 big games a year. In the new SEC he will have four. And if he ever makes the playoffs he will have to win at least 3 in a row.

It was thought to be a ND limit due to the type of recruits but ND is now winning big games and BK isn’t.

He basically has one great win at Lsu - against bama. The Mizzou win is nice but was not a big game.

If we had known Missouri was good when we played them Kelly would’ve coached tight and we would’ve lost. Guy gets puckered butthole in every big game and the teams feels it and the play calling reflects it

Not disagreeing with you on BK, but what big games is ND winning?

I’d say beating a ranked A&M in opener is big

Yeah, I got the feeling they pulled the plug on the offense in the second half for worry of turnover, thinking they could hold them down defensively and it backfired.

Is it though? A&M isn’t exactly a world beater and that game could have gone either way late into the 4th quarter. They are also breaking in a brand new coaching staff and a ton of new transfers. They were ripe for the picking.

....not with non-SEC caliber players like Sage Ryan and Major Burns starting on your defense.

Well then CBK’s wins over Aggie have to be called “big wins” too. Why not?

Why do we always play our first game in the Super Duper Classic game on national TV against someone who can beat us? You never see Alabama or Ohio State play someone potentially equal to them in the first game. They always play a cupcake game first against Northwest Southern Montana State at home to get the kinks out. Now we have to run the table to get anywhere in the post season.
