Mid players getting paid like stars

The thing about Ryan is that he is very often in pretty good coverage, but when the ball goes in the air, he loses it completely. We all know the completion is his fault because, unlike other DBs last year, he was close enough to be in the screen when the catch was made. He has a tendency to tackle the WR once the ball is in the air, as he did last night. My guess is that the coaches can see the potential, but just cannot close the deal with his ball skills.
