If given the chance to go to either school for a STEM degree, which would you pick?
Visited Princeton yesterday and the IAS, beautiful campus.

Back in the day, both were top Engineering schools but MIT had the better model railroad club.
Harvard produced this guy
If you have ever had a jello shot, this guy invented it.

Just as long as you’re not into that whole “Yale thing”.

MIT.
They moved back to test scores over holistic admissions, which is a sign they're backing away from wokeism.
If you're in STEM you want your education to be objective facts. You want it to anyway, but the consequences are much worse if you drive over a bridge whose designer thinks physics is a white supremacist construct.

I’d pick MIT in general but it would depend on what you’re studying

I don’t think you could go wrong with either but MIT for most majors

The correct answer is Harvard

Princeton is a great town! New Jersey is full of great townships.

quote:Princeton is probably the best quality of life campus in the Ivy League. It's a college town of about 40K people, in the countryside, an hour from Manhattan and Philadelphia. It's nothing like most people's impression of NJ, which is generally Newark.

Princeton.
I don’t want to commit suicide at MIT.

Either MIT or Princeton are great choices.
My late uncle (and namesake) held an MIT PhD in Physics.
He’d assuredly have gone as far in life had it instead been from Princeton.

Xavier is a much better STEM school. They teach using ancient Wakandan knowledge.

Both are great choices.
As are Harvard and Yale.
And you should never rely on people who invoke the term “woke” in making recommendations in these matters, no matter which school you are considering.
If you have the opportunity to go to any of these schools, you are fortunate.

Yeah….. better hope someone in the fam is a US senator or on the board of a nasdaq company if you think you’re getting hired after graduation.
