We lost 4 season openers. All 4 played week zero games and we totally rebuilt our program from the virus that was coach o. Not the same as get arse raped physically by Notre Dame with a $100 million roster and two coaches worth most $200 million. Dont compare the two you look dumb.

I’d say that Kelly coming from a ND program
that was still solid was a better hire than Jimbo coming from an F$U program in turmoil, even though Jimbo had a NC.
Ed O was worth every penny we paid him to coach and leave, because of 2019.
Les kinda scammed us with his big extension after flirting with Arkansas, but the fact is he won one NC and had another stolen from him.

Well that’s not true at all. 2021 UCLA and 2022 FSU played week zero games. 2020 Mississippi State and 2023 FSU did not.
FWIW I do think that the week zero games made a difference in 2021 and 2022. Especially considering we had new coordinators on both sides, both years.
Last year I think FSU was just a better team than us.
