Who's the DA that creates our OOC schedule?

Why would we ever want to play the opening season game for 3 straight years on a Sunday night in addition to play a higher ranked team when the SEC schedule is already difficult enough? Whoever okays and agrees to this just needs to see the door.
If I'm being honest, they shouldn't even have a Louisiana ID. Someone needs to revoke this. Who can I contact at the DMV to present evidence to void this individual's license?

Love big games early. I’d like ‘home and home’ matchups with agreements to either play a cupcake game prior or not.

I’m ready for a committee to takeover scheduling. The idea of schools scheduling their own games to benefit themselves is flat out unsportsmanlike imo. It’ll probably take another 20+ years of course, since it took 150 years to decide the champion on the field

Let’s see, only game on Sunday night, viewer ship out the roof. Lots of eyes on the Tigers. Pretty smart scheduling.

Usc is barely in the top 25

So tired of the pussies complaining about playing better competition. Then in the same thread we get dickheads complaining about soft OOC games. Impossible to satisfy everyone, so maybe just enjoy watching the Tigers play whoever is on the schedule. Life is too short…it seems like I was just watching Tommy Hodson play

We played difficult openers for years and did quite well with them. The exposure was great.
Just the last 4 years have been awful. That needed to change, not so much the scheduling.

we don’t have a choice in the date of the game.
the networks dictate it.

the entire country has been waiting 21 seasons for LSU and USC to finally actually play each other.
nobody outside of Thibodaux gives half a bucket of rat piss about the upcoming game against Nicholls.
if you want to see more games against teams like Southeastern Paducah Technical College, maybe find an FCS school to follow instead.

just the opposite.
they need an extension and a raise for scheduling like this.
playing all the small in state schools does absolutely nothing for LSU except cost money.

maybe we can get the committee to also construct rosters too.
allowing teams to stock up on more talent than everyone else is unsportsmanlike too.
All schools should also have equivalent facilities.
And we need to build a weather machine so every plays in similar conditions.

it’s been settled on the field for a long time now.
the season starts Week 0/1.
Not in January.

OK, next year LSU can open with Southeastern. Happy with that?

I would prefer home and home, but I like the big marquee matchups.
I agree though, Sunday games suck.

Yeah, really sucks being the only game on, damn, how stupid are you?

Well we got embarrassed as the only team on the last 2 times we have played on Sunday. ...
I don't like Sunday games, because you have to travel back home on Monday. Probably not a big deal for you as you watch from your couch, but it ends up being an extra travel day. Luckily, the last three years it has fallen on a holiday.

A lot of real small D energy in this thread.

I'd rather play big games for our OOC and if we're going to schedule any "cupcakes" they should be in state schools (LA Tech, ULM, ULL, McNeese, North Western etc)

Ok, so you are stupid.
The only time there are Sunday games on the schedule (not counting hurricanes) are holiday weekends.
