What season outcome would you prefer?

A: We barely make the playoffs, lose on the road first round, Carr looked exactly like last year and good D saved us from embarrassment.
B:We end up with only 5-6 wins, miss playoffs, Allen fired in November, carr plays same as last year, D took a step back from last year
C: We win 8, but miss Playoffs after Rattler takes over for Carr toward the end of season and we dramatically improve on offense, but Allen keeps his job.

Since I am a fan, I choose option A every time.

I want some buzz in the organization.
A new coach and QB is needed immediately, as well as a flush of overpaid veteran players.
D) the best thing for the future of the franchise is to lose every game this year and purge the dumpster fire that is Carr and Allen.
New coaches are enticed by cap room and a number one overall pick.

Option A seems impossible. If we make the playoffs we would most likely have a home
game. I know you’re playing hypotheticals. Just saying.

.J:
Carr retires and gives back 50% of his guaranteed due. The Ratt takes over and goes on a tear for a 8-6 record, Gets injured and Haener comes off the bench. We finish real strong and win Div title. Back to where it belongs. NFL teams jelly over Saints having two good QB prospects

In a way getting in is a wild card to the playoffs but losing would be a lot more than I think everybody expected because pretty much everyone thinks we're going to be dog shite.
Honestly, I'm not up for moral victories like that.
But at the same time I I hate losing.
This is the pain in the arse part about being a middling team.

If you truly love the Saints - not like them, love them - then B is the answer.

Outside of an 0 win season, I don’t think Allen is going anywhere for a few years - not rooting for him to stick around, just a gut feel. So Option B is out IMO
Therefore, give me option 8 and at least 1 more week of Saints football.

I hope Carr stays healthy that way we lose more games and will get a higher draft pick. We can’t afford starting one of the younger guys… We might get screwed and end up winning this shitty division

B
To move forward in any meaningful manner Allen needs to be gone. Until that happens we’re stuck in varying levels of purgatory which are likely going to continue on a slow road to bottoming out. Rip the bandaid off now.

A would probably be the most exciting, although disappointing in the end.

That's the options? What a terrible fan base. How's about E since some Falcons fan troll added D already.
E. We do like we've done before as underdogs and have a great season and go deep into the playoffs at minimal?

0-17 first pick
Only way that would be possible is if Loomis traded away this year’s first to move up in the draft

Option B in a landslide. Allen + Carr might be a bottom 5 HC/QB combo in the league. We need a fresh start asap.
