Thought we were going to see him become Tiger Bait in LV, but I forgot he transferred to Wisky. Guess he wasn't moving up the depth chart at SC. Oh well, wish him the best up in the frozen tundra.

99% of it coming from people that couldnt even start in HS. miserable people who love to talk bad about kids
its funny....people bash Louisiana, say how much it sucks, especially cenla where Tackett is from...yet the minute someone leaves...they get pissed. its truely baffling.

He played a lot and started several games as a true freshman for SC. Was Pac 10 Freshman of the Week one week.
However, USC's defense was not good. And as bad as our defense was last year, i do not think he would have seen anywhere close to the PT he got at SC.
He will probably be a serviceable LB at Wisconsin. It appears to me he was overrated coming out of HS.

Was the lowest graded player on that USC defense per PFF. 44.3 overall

I'm not going back through the timeline again, but LSU basically offered him twice (under O, under Kelly) before or at the same time as the rest of his finalists. His family, however, kept posting that LSU didn't offer him and wasn't recruiting him. Instead of just being a man and saying he wanted to leave the state, they kept making up bullshite excuses for him.
Oh, they would also come onto the board saying Curtis was the #1 LB in the country, would've been better than Perkins if in the same class, better than weeks, better than every current LSU LB commit. It was exhausting and childish, so save me the "he's just a kid" bullshite. His family and friends made that bed for him.
If a player makes it known they're leaving the state, people respect that. Sedrick Van Pren was the #1 center in the country (a position of need) and basically never considered LSU. Made it known he was leaving the state. No one cared or bad mouthed him.
ETA: frick Jess Curtis. He ruined the LHSAA even though he was able to do more than any other public school in the state when it came to roster building.
