I remember when the West Nile propaganda was in full force. They said Slidell was a hot spot for West Nile. We spent a week there for our yearly family reunion during that time. Out of 30plus people there, nobody got sick. Weird. And anybody that knows anything about Carr Dr. knows you wear mosquitoes like pants around there. I think that was a huge factor in my realization of the propaganda machine. I was about 25 at that time.
