Who gets #18?

It will be announced before end of camp on Saturday, possibly today or Friday per this tweet.
Favorite seems to be someone like Josh Williams. Maybe Mason Taylor. Personally, I’d love to see Nuss wear it. Haven’t seen a QB wear #18 since the OG Matt Mauck.

I believe that’s just a scout team LB wearing #18 for USC LB

Josh Williams, Nuss, and Guillory, seem the most likely candidates to me.

I think Josh Williams should get it, but watch it be Perk

I pretty ambivalent about these number things like 18 and 7. They do noting for my LSU Tiger fandom. But if it helps the team win games, I'm for it.

I think it should go to Josh Williams. He fits the traditional criteria. Senior player who displays great leadership.

I didn’t think about Sage Ryan

It would be wrong not to give it to Josh Williams. He represents everything #18 is supposed to be about

Josh is like 40 years old, he’s inherently gonna be viewed as the leader. If not Josh, then Major for a lot of the same reasons…old fart of the team, a lot of football played. Both are better today than when they stepped into the building. A guy like Guillory has stuck with it. Sage and John E possibly, but they stuck their toe in the portal, so idk. We don’t know who Nuss is to give him that yet lol.
1 Williams
2 Burns
3 Taylor
1 Williams
2 Burns
3 Taylor

It won't be guillory. He continues to do things to draw flags after the play in games and to start fights at practice. They still don't trust him enough to get that number

Whoever gets it has to be from louisiana

It’s rarely the obvious choice, so probably Greg Penn.
