LSU / Loyola Law Grads - The Ernie Menard Saga

Esteemed barristers of the OT, what can you tell us about the Ernie Menard Saga that allegedly happened in the early 2000s at both LSU and Loyola law schools?
Is any of it true? Is the guy even real or just an elaborate troll?
For those not in the know, some guy wreaked havoc at these places as a law student, accusing staff, faculty, students, and other members of the legal profession of some wildly outlandish stuff in his blog.

There’s a lot out there on him, mostly authored by himself fwiw. Even federal lawsuits filed by him. Dude is quite insane, extreme paranoia.

BTW, he’s a real person. He and Vicky were both in my class. I feel so sorry for her. She doesn’t deserve any of this.
I remember the day he brought a prostitute to an 8:00 am class and made a full 2 minute announcement to the whole class that it was his wife. “This is my wife. My wife and I will be sitting in the back of the class today. So I’ll be in the back of the class…with my wife. My wife is this person right here. She will be sitting next to me…in the back of the class…because we are married. She is my wife…who I am married to…”

Have you read the Ernifesto? Seems like he would see or hear something fairly benign or even completely innocent or unrelated to him (like a comment overheard) and somehow take it as an insult, flirtation or something directed at him and go crazy from there.
