Door to door salesman - trespassing

Louisiana trespassing law seems to grant an exemption to unsolicited salesmen entering your property.
https://legis.la.gov/Legis/Law.aspx?d=78584
My question is whether a 'no trespassing' sign would remove their exemption to enter the property. I get that they're going to ignore any signs, but I'd like to know.

F. The following persons may enter or remain upon immovable property of another, unless specifically forbidden to do so by the owner or other person with authority, either orally or in writing:
(3) Any person making a delivery, soliciting, selling any product or service, conducting a survey or poll, a real estate licensee or other person who has a legitimate reason for making a delivery, conducting business or communicating with the owner, lessee, custodian or a resident of the immovable property, and who, immediately upon entry, seeks to make the delivery, to conduct business or to conduct the communication.

J. Although not required by this Section, notice that entrance upon any structure, watercraft, movable, or immovable property owned by another is prohibited may be indicated by either of the following:
(1) A sign or signs posted on or in the property at a place or places where such sign or signs may be reasonably expected to be seen.

Just don’t answer the door.
Never understood why people get so bothered over this

If you have a clearly visible ‘No Solicitation’ sign then a door to door salesman is, by law, trespassing.

The Vivint guys coming by at 8PM is really getting old.
I'm fine with people leaving door hangers but don't you dare knock.

Our neighborhood has a collective no soliciting policy. We still have to run them out from time to time despite signage at both entrances to our neighborhood

Lighten up. How else you expect to get the world's year-old news and facts without Brittanica? Your kids need to write those reports for school.

It's an interruption and they have no business being on my property. They interrupt homework, naps, dinner, work, etc...
I don't get mad about it, but it's ridiculous to not understand why it bothers people.

That's the question, I guess. Is a 'no trespassing' sign specifically forbidding them from entering the property? I have no idea.

I have one and they still knock or leave shite. Less often than before I had the sign, so I guess it scares some off. I'm not petty enough to call the police over a solicitor, so no experience with involving the law.

They’re going to knock or ring your doorbell anyway. My neighbor has a no soliciting sign and they always disturb him. I have many Catholic articles on my front porch and the jehovah’s are convinced they’re going to convert me.
Best thing is to not answer, which is what I do now.

Neither am I. Just wonder if a no trespassing sign would scare them off a little more than the no soliciting sign.

Look, when it’s 7:00 I’m trying wind down from work and relax and some jackass rings my door bell despite the sign saying no soliciting, dogs start barking, you bet your arse I’m gonna be pissed.
I don’t want your solar panels, windows, AC service, etc., frick off and get of my property.

Looks like it's spelled out for you in the portion you quoted.
With that said, even if it is deemed trespassing, I have a feeling it will be one of those non-enforced laws unless the person hangs around and waits for the cops. And even then, it most likely will be "let me get your information", "don't do it again", "you can leave" type of warnings.

Two reasons for me
1) They knock / hit the doorbell which inevitably occurs after we put our kids to sleep causing chaos (especially with our dog)
2) We have two big bay doors at the front of our house. Not ideal when random people come and hang about on our porch.

I have young children, so the idiots from whatever pest control is currently plaguing Baton Rouge, or Vivint, beating on my door or ringing the bell at 8:30 on a weeknight pisses me off greatly.

Serious question: What exactly are you looking to see happen? ...or is this just hypothetical?
Do you want them arrested for breaking the law (trespassing)?
Yes, it is annoying, but seems like it would take a lot less time to just ignore the knocking/doorbell rather than reporting them for trespassing, having the police show up, and then writing a statement for law enforcement that will lead to absolutely nothing happening.
