Big difference between republican and dem conventions over the last 20 years.

When republican presidents leave office they disappear, with the exception of Trump. Obama and Bill Clinton, and their wives, get rolled out out every 4 years for these conventions. Kamala’s motto is “we won’t go back”, but if that’s true why bring out these old presidents.

There's a reason for this
They had to have Biden say he is OK with getting pushed out
Hillary is a narcissist and probably insisted she be included
Obama still controls the entire party so of course he and Big Mike have to be there to remind everyone who they worship

All the Trump haters like to say Trump was a democrat before switching to run in 2016, Trump switched to the Democrat party when Dubya decided to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, which led to the deaths of over a million people and the squandering of trillions of dollars.

Reagan endorsed 41 and faded away. 41 pretty much went into charity rather than politics after 1992. W went into hiding after 2008.

Come on, man. Ron and Nancy were the patron saints of the GOP long after they were able to even make public appearances. Then they started having appearances from Reagan's children.
The Bush family does not support Trump, and 2016 marked the first RNC convention with no appearances from the Bush family since 1976.
If the GOP had any living former Presidents who supported Trump, they would have been speaking at the convention.
