Vegas Sports Books/Best place to watch CFB on 8/31

Going to Las Vegas for the game in about a week and a half (can't wait!) and since we are playing Sunday, my brother and I have all day Saturday to take in all the other games and do some gambling. We were thinking of hitting a sports book to chill out and watch games and gamble on them.
Any suggestions on the best places on the strip and how to go about this? Looks like Caesar's is pricy but straightforward. You reserve a seat for the day ($125-$500 per seat) and then it's yours for the day and you can order food and drinks through that while you watch the games.
Not sure if that is worth it or if we want to hop around more. Are most places like this where you have to reserve a seat ahead of time? Would hate to show up thinking we can hunker down at a sports book only to realize everything has been reserved farther out.
Just curious what the general options are and good places to watch lots of college football.

They do not all require reservations. Just go to the various websites

Are the food and drink included for the day?
I can’t imagine paying $500 for a chair to watch anything on a tv.
Go to a strip club and have a naked chick grind on your lap while you watch a game for all that.

Just 3 drink tickets. the $500 package is all you can drink.
We are not necessarily going with Caesars, it just is the only one I can find so far that has good lounge seating. It would be nice to know we have a reserved seat but not a deal breaker. Just don't want to show up at 8-9am saturday and have the place already packed out and we're screwed.
Maybe I should change this to, best place to watch CFB on Saturday on the strip.

That’s the catch. You can either pay for a reservation or risk not having a seat.
Cosmopolitan is first come, it’s very nice but smaller.

It’s for the reservation, prime spot and dedicated servers. It’s not supposed to make economic sense. It’s a sports book. Vegas is the wrong place if you are trying to rationalize economics.

Circa and Westgate and Wynn are the 3 best sportsbooks IMO
We have a 6 person pod at Westgate superbook on Saturday… reserved for all day…. $1200 (prepaid) but that’s a food and drink credit for the day for 6 people, we’ll easily spend that being there all day ~9am to 7pm
They have other options than 6 person pods LINK not sure what they have left for that Saturday, we booked in June

I’m aware. The experience is worth whatever you decide it is. Not for me, but someone else will probably have a great time. And there’s a chance you could parlay it into a free experience if the gambling pays off.

Not a sportsbook but a sports bar. We have reservations for 6:00 at Beer Park on Saturday. It should be around halftime of the A&M/ND game.

They are booked out. Caesars seemed to still have room. The credit is huge. I wouldn't blink twice at paying $500 for caesars if that was credited towards all day food and drinks.
Really just looking for some place good and comfortable to watch the game. In theory we could always gamble with the online sports books.

There are some sportsbooks that are first come first served, but a lot of them are reserved ahead of time. It's one of the busiest weekends, especially with LSU and USC being in town, so they will all fill up quickly. I believe Circa and Westgate have a decent number of free seats, but I've heard they fill up well before 9 am.
Caesar's properties have the best website for booking ahead of time. LINK MGM properties don't seem to have many online options.

How is the Walk Ons in LV? We have a reservation there on Saturday at 10 just in case our whole group isn't able to get seats together or close by at a sportsbook. Going to Stadium Swim for the Notre Dame/A&M game so only looking for somewhere to go from like 9-2.

Why restrict yourself to one place? If the games get boring you can go around to other places and gamble a bit and check out a different sports book. I haven't been to Vegas recently but I'd assume finding a couple of seats should not be a problem. Sounds like a fun time no matter what!

We are staying at MGM Grand. Just talked to a girl at their sportsbook.
Their seats are free, first come first serve. Doors open around 7am and games start at 9am.
Pictures on their website look like a pretty good spot to watch the game.
